Clara Shalom is a Cameroonian gospel artist living in Italy. Drawn to music since childhood, she began writing her first songs at the age of thirteen. Three years later, a personal encounter with Jesus Christ gave her artistic calling a new direction. She comes from western Cameroon, and part of her inspiration is drawn from those roots. Her path began at school fairs and cultural events, then continued through several choirs, concerts, Christian gatherings and gospel singing competitions. She has also taken part in various projects with Gospel Jam Cameroon. Her vision is to proclaim the hope found in Jesus Christ through songs that are honest, accessible and inspired — songs able to encourage, comfort and bring people together across cultures.

Shalom Maranatha is the association founded by Clara Shalom. Its purpose: to evangelise and make a difference to young people, communities and society — through after-school activities, summer camps and educational talks between adults, all grounded in biblical values.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
